PB Carpentry & Building services was established in 2001 by Phill Butt to service customers who require joinery and general building works in Romsey and the surrounding areas.

Phill had previously studied carpentry at Southampton Technical College for 3 years along side an apprenticeship scheme with a company specialising in carpentry and joinery. After successfully completing his apprenticeship and being awarded City and Guilds part 1, 2, and 3 Phill continued to work for his original company to hone his skills and learn a wide range of associated trades.

Having worked for ten years for his original apprenticeship company, which focused on shopfitting for banks and listed building refurbishments, Phill found that operating in the retail, commercial and installation sectors limited his full potential, particularly face to face client liaison.

Phill's opportunity arose in 2001 when he set up on his own to build up his reputation as well as a successful business and now boasts a substantial client base in Romsey and its surrounding districts.
